Dota 2 Teams

Na’Vi

Currently the number two team in Europe, Na’Vi or Natus Vincere’s players ukraine Artstyle (Solo), ukraine Xboct (Carry), ukraine Dendi (Support), estonia Puppey (Support) and russia LighTofHaeveN (Solo) should not be underestimated. Infamous for their heavy push strategies and the relentless pressure they put on their opponents, they may be able to push through to the $1,000,000 USD in Cologne.

MYM

Starting off as a play-for-fun Counterstrike Team, Meet Your Makers rapidly evolved into a fully-fledged e-sport business located in Denmark. Today they employ players from all over the world in many different games, including DotA and now Dota 2. After winning the Farm4Fame tournament in a dominating fashion against Na’vi, they can be considered Europe’s number one team. Lead by famous DotA player denmark Mealk (Support), the players denmark MiseRy (Solo/Carry), denmark MaNia (Solo/Carry), denmark Pusher-Street (Support) and denmark PlaymatE (Support) have fought their way to victory even against overwhelming odds.

M5

Known as a sponsor for Counterstrike 1.6, Moscow Five picked up the Russian DotA team Geraj Players consisting of russia NS’egaraj, russia Light, russia Dread, russia Smile, as well as russia GodOfDotA. M5 may not be the strongest contender for the big prize at Gamescom but will not go down easily as they are currently in boot camp practising Dota 2 to their limits.

GGnet

Formerly known as New World Order, the team around Clement “Puppeh” Ivanov was picked up by Gosu Gamers.net to represent them in the steadily growing competitive scene of DotA. After their captain Puppeh left, they added the well-known German player Kebap to their roster, which now consists of russia Azen (Solo), germany KuroKy (Carry/Solo), sweden Miracel (Support), germany Kebap (Support) and sweden rmN (Solo). They are known for a versatile playing style, but often favour a gank-oriented lineup with a hard carry to secure the lategame.
